Why do I always feel alienated and antagonized on nearly every issue I raise on the internet?
How exhausting... Not sure why I bother wasting my time so very often.

I understand we all come from different viewpoints, but I keep seeing this trend that instead of looking for common ground to get something agreed on and done, they just use it as an opportunity to hammer in their views however extreme and unrealistic it might be, claim hypocrisy on the opposing side and then people rally with them like it's a f*cking witch hunt. It's a goddamn discussion, how about we discuss things like self aware, educated individuals and stop trying to join the mob. I don't understand how people think that type of thinking accomplishes anything.
I don't expect anyone to agree, however I feel it creates a more constructive atmosphere if people upon accepting the distinctions, look for common ground to get the most for everyone at the table.
If debating just leaves more conflict, it defeats the purpose of communicating each of our views openly. With communication ought to come understanding or obviously we may not be speaking the same language literally or figuratively.
It really does make me feel sick, I'm sorry ...
